Hey all!

I thought this may be of interest to some people? I’ve been inspired and have decided to create my own community. Basically an allergy friendly, intolerance friendly,specialist diet friendly community specialising in recipes that are:

Dairy free, Egg free, Gluten-free, Nut Free, Rice Free, Sugar Free, Soy Free, Nightshade veggie free, Seafood free, vegan, vegetarian, and recipes low in: Salicylates, Amines & Glutamate. (I will be adding to this list)

Hello Iam a new member here and I have a gluten intolerance.I try to get away with eating things with wheat in them but end up have digestion problems. I can eat some things and get away with it but it still causes me problems. I guess it would be easlier to stay on a diet if there wasn't so many things that contain wheat products. Men being a college student and living on campus really doesn't help.
hungry and looking at a pizza that I can't eat.

Double Chocolate Chip Muffins (vegan)

Source: Vegan Cooking for Health (Kitchen Doctor).

50g creamed coconut
300ml boiling water
60ml vegetable oil
225g self-raising flour
15ml baking powder
pinch salt
40g cocoa powder
115g light soft brown sugar
175g dark chocolate

Dissolve the creamed coconut in the water, then set aside to cool. Chop the chocolate into coarse chocolate-chip-sized chunks, then sift all the other dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

Combine the oil and coconut mixture, and pour into a well in the dry ingredients. Stir till gooey muffin dough is achieved.

Bake in paper muffin cases for 15 mins at 180 deg C / gas 4 / 350 deg F.

Flourless Chocolate cake

200g Maya Gold chocolate
100g sugar
120g butter
100g ground almonds
4 eggs separated
icing sugar

Oven temp: gas 4 180C

Chop the chocolate and add it to the sugar and butter.
Melt them together in a bowl over a pan of hot water. (can probaby just use the microwave.)
Let it cool for 5 minutes then add in the ground almonds and stir well.
Beat egg whites until stiff and creamy.
Beat in the egg yolks into the chocolate mixture one at a time and then fold in the egg whites.
Spoon into muffin moulds and bake for 30 minutes

Gluten-Free Brownies
1 tablespoon ground almonds, plus extra for dusting
300g gark chocolate
275g caster sugar
165g butter
5 large eggs

Preheat oven to 180/350F/gas mark4. Brush the tin with a little melted butter or olive oil and dust with ground almond shaking off any excess.(The recipe suggests a spring form tin, but I just line a 20-24cm pie tin with foil).
Melt the chocolate, caster sugar & butter and remove from the heat.

Whisk the eggs with the ground almonds and fold into the chocolate mixture. Pour into the tin and bake for 35-40 minutes approx.

Can a blood type skip a generation?

I'm thinking my sister isn't my dads kid.
My Moms A+ & my Dads B+
My oldest sister is B+ (makes sense)
My middle sister is O+ (wtf whered that come from)
& i'm the youngest, I have AB+ (rare, w00t. but it makes sense.)

The only thing I can think of is my Poppy(grandfather on my moms side), hes O+ but! isn't your blood directly from your parents?

Hello, hello!

I am pretty sure I am O+... I am going to go to the blood bank to find out. The chances are pretty good, though, and before I even knew what this diet was, I have always loved meat. I tried to not like it during America's "meat is bad" phase in the late 90's and went almost a week with no meat. I felt sick, depressed, and lethargic during those days. Happens when I eat pasta, or sandwiches, too. I never really knew why--I just shrugged it off as me being weird.

Then I read D'Adamo's books. Now I am not a scientist by any stretch of the imagination, but I have read quite a few books on genetics and evolution, and his findings make perfect sense to me. I also know how my own body reacts to most of the "avoid" foods. Strangely enough, I never really liked too many of the foods on the avoid lists anyway. But DAMN. I'm gonna miss French bread. And ice cream. :::weep:::

To the moderator/maintainer of this community: Want me to make an icon for this journal? I do graphic design for a living.

Hey I just joined this community. I've heard about this diet and it's interested me quite a bit. I have a really stupid question, How do you find out what type of blood you have? I know that was probably the most stupid question but I really do not know.

hello everyone, I just joined this community because a man where I use to work told me a little bit of this diet, and it sounded like the kind of diet I need. Unfortunatly like i said.. where I use to work.. since this man i have been unable to find anything out abuot this diet.. untill today =)
I have no idea where to begin!! I read on the info page here that there are several books about the diet and such.. biut I really have no idea where to start any help and advice would begreatly appreciated, I need all the support I can get.
